Launched in 2018, the newsletter is the most popular freelance writing jobs platform in the UK and it helps freelance writers earn over £1 million in commissions, writing prizes and jobs every year. It’s helping change the media industry for the better.
After spending hours a week sifting through media jobs boards for suitable roles, I realised that there wasn’t a dedicated jobs platform for freelancer writers. So I created one. Now it’s evolved to include copywriting roles, screenwriting and occassional poetry writing gigs.
Alongside the weekly issue, I also send a monthly round-up sharing the best writing prizes, residencies and bursaries with upcoming deadlines, along with details of ongoing funds and financial support for writers. These are the opportunities that can change writing lives.
